Secretary report: motion to approve last month’s minutes, seconded, motion passes.
Treasury report: $2,999.13 in treasury and $1,410 in delegates fund. GTW just donated $45 to Delegates Fund. Anthony still needs access to the Area bank account.
Delegates report: Roger still needs to give the profits from the last event to treasurer still, that will go to the delegates fund.
Lit report: Going well and nothing to report.
HIPI report: Committee is going well with fluctuations of new attendees to the committee. Our committee has met twice since last Area meeting. We have experienced a couple of failed commitments but spoke about it and are working to ensure this doesn’t happen anymore. At our last meeting we voted to spend $100 to attend a tabling event hosted by Anthony Jordan at Hudson and Upper falls. We are looking forward to registering for Scotty B overdose awareness day as well.
Fellowship Report: Voted to separate Fellowship Committee from Campout committee, which will meet 2nd and 4th Sunday at Zach’s house. Fellowship will possibly be having their monthly hike on June 20th at 4 Mile in Webster (TBD). July 19th is Summer Beach Day Event at Durand Beach. All service positions have been filled! A future white water rafting event is also in the works.
Website Report: no chair present
Meeting reports:
-Bangin Recovery: Strong HG members, despite attendance being somewhat low lately.
-Greece the Wheel: Meeting going well, attendance consistent. Meeting prior to meeting to fellowship!
-Hope Fiends: nobody present
-4th Dimension: Reading out of our new HA book!
-Agaisnt All Odds: Attendance and donations have been steady.
Old Business:
-Fill position of website chair.
Mike N stand for position of website chair. Gives service resume. Voted and motion passes!
-Zach asks if the chair will approve a motion to remove previous website chair from position. Seconded. Motion passes.
-Co-chair position is still open and available. Mike T stands for position. Service resume given. Voted and motion passes!
New Business:
-Zach motions to have Campout Committee be recognized as an Area ad-hoc committee, that would dissolve at the end of the campout. Motion seconded. Motion passes.
-Riley appoints Zach as chair of the campout committee.
-Zach motions that area allocates $400 to campout committee for fundraising efforts. And all proceeds from the campout would go directly to Area. Motion Seconded. Discussion…Motion passes.
-Zach motions to have HIPI committee be reimbursed the $100 for the tabling event, as well as $100 for meeting lists, future PI, $200 total. Motion seconded. Motion passes.
